Peter Kiss has joined the University of Vienna as a principal investigator for his FWF project, "Dynamic and Sublinear Algorithms for Local Problems" (10.55776/ESP6088024), under the ESPRIT program for postdoctoral researchers. At TAA, he will be mentored by Gramoz Goranci.
Peter's research focuses on dynamic data structures for graph problems. His recent groundbreaking work on approximation algorithms for dynamic matching problems has earned best paper awards at flagship conferences in theoretical computer science, including SODA, ITCS, ICALP, and ESA.
