Georg Braun completed his Master’s thesis in our group under the supervision of Kathrin Hanauer and Maximilian Vötsch. The research developed in his thesis subsequently led to the paper "New Heuristic and Multivalued Decision Diagram-based Exact Algorithms for Repetition-Free Longest Common Subsequence Problems" and was presented at ALENEX 2026.
The award recognizes outstanding Bachelor's and Master's research and supports awardees in presenting their work at international scientific conferences.
